Should I pursue a career in music?

In my opinion, the sole requirement for becoming a professional musician should be "DOES IT SOUND GREAT?" If other people (mommy & daddy not included) really like the music you make, then it is okay to become a professional musician. If not, then you need to keep practicing on the side, but pursue other professional interests.
