What did you think of Bryce Dallas Howard as Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man 3?

I thought she was the perfect Gwen even better than Dunsts' Mary Jane. To bad what's gonna happen to Gwen in the future. But since they made (and this is not a spoiler, it's in the trailer) the Sandman uncle Bens'(which did not happen in the comics) killer they can change Gwens' fate in the movies.
