Bbq hair and make up what do i do? help?

Were having a bbq on saturday day time for the derby,there is some really preety people going.that always look fabulous.i am quite Fat, what can i wear. how can i do my make up? please help but the main things is i have really thick hair nd i always have it straight what can i do to make me stand out and look special?
