How is the "How the Grinch stole Christmas" cartoon version differents from the Jim Carrey movie version?

me and my language arts cl just finished watching the how the grinch stole christmas movie and cartoon version because we now have to write a compare and contrast essay between the 2 and i finished most of it except i dont know what scene from the cartoon version is different from the movie! it seems that the movie included EVERYTHING in the cartoon but added more. like it added cindy lou falling into that machine thingy and the grinch saving her and the grinch's childhood and how he had a crush and martha may who and stuff. but then it also includes everything that happend in the cartoon version PLUS all that. i dont know how the cartoon version is any differemt and it has to be something thats kinda major. not something like "oh idk, i think the grinch was fatter in the movie." or whatever. it has to be something that maybe the movie didn't include or changed, something i can write a detailed description about. and PLEASE answer!!! this essay is due tommorrow!!!!!!!
