I do think that if she were a better friend, she would have asked you how you felt. If she really values your relationship that is. That's the one issue I have with females, we will let a man come between our friendships in a heart beat. But if you guys are really as close as you claim to be, she would have felt bad about hitting on him and would have talked with you first knowing that you liked him.
