Is it morally wrong as a White Sox fan, to like this Cubs team?

I'm a Cubs fan, married 14 years to a White Sox fan. I've never understood the concept that if you like one team, you have to hate the other. The 2 teams are not rivals, they are not in the same division, not even in the same league. Yes, they do play 6 games a year, but those games don't mean anything more then any other inter league games. When the Sox won the World Series in 2005, I was very glad for them, for their fans. and for the city of Chicago. Although I am a Cubs fan, more then anything else I appreciate good baseball. You sound like you are similar to me in that respect. Probably you should describe yourself more as a fan of the game that happens to root for the White Sox then a White Sox fan. On both sides of town, 90% of the fans of either team automatically hates the other team. It may be jealousy, it may be frustration over the fact that neither team has had a very succesful history, but the other 10% of the fans of these teams are smart enough to appreciate having 2 teams here. Wear your Sox colors with pride, as I wear my Cibs colors. Chicago needs more intelligent fans like you.
